Adolfino Cañete Azcurra (born 13 September 1956 in Asunción) is a retired professional Paraguayan years1 = |footballer. He was part of the 1986 Paraguayan national team that played in the World Cup that year at Mexico. Cañete was credited with three assists during that World Cup. He played for many in the Mexican league, including Cruz Azul. In Argentina, he played for Ferro Carril Oeste, Talleres de Córdoba and Club Atlético Lanús.
